I am a Boston based mixed-media artist and illustrator. My primary mediums and techniques include gouache, colored pencil, ink, fiber arts, weaving, and bookmaking. My work frequently involves storytelling, often in the form of comics and zines, as well as combinations of 2D and 3D conventions of fine art and craft. Though my art can take many different forms, it is unified through my strong personal voice and the common themes of memory, transformation, nature, identity, and home. I explore the interconnections within contradictions (the organic and the geometric, freedom and containment, stasis and change, past and present) and attempt to capture and preserve pieces of myself and the world around me.
